Arggo supports Sphera Franchise Group’s digital transformation through integrated business solutions

Sphera Franchise Group partnered with Arggo to accelerate the digital transformation of its financial and operational processes across the entire group. By implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and the Timeqode platform, the company centralized financial information, automated document workflows, and significantly reduced reliance on manual activities. The project focused on standardizing business processes across all group entities and building a technology foundation capable of supporting data-driven decision-making and future growth.

Sphera Franchise Group, the largest food service group in Romania, launched a major initiative to modernize its internal operations in partnership with Arggo. The group operates more than 180 restaurants and employs approximately 5,000 people. Its portfolio includes KFC, Pizza Hut, and Taco Bell in Romania, KFC in Chișinău and selected regions of Italy, as well as Cioccolatitaliani in Italy. Sphera also holds the franchise rights for developing Hard Rock Cafe restaurants in Romania and the Republic of Moldova, along with the wagamama brand.
The primary objective of the project was to automate business processes and consolidate financial and accounting data into a unified platform accessible across all companies within the group.

A unified platform for financial data and business processes

To eliminate fragmented information and inconsistencies between group entities, Sphera Franchise Group implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central in a SaaS (Cloud) environment. The platform provides a single framework for managing financial data, standardizing operations, and increasing visibility across the entire organization.
Document and contract management processes generated by multiple departments were digitalized using the Timeqode platform. The solution centralizes documents, automates approval workflows, and includes OCR (Optical Character Recognition) capabilities that automatically extract data from invoices and other financial documents, significantly reducing manual data entry.
In addition, procure-to-pay processes were redesigned as intuitive digital workflows. Among the custom applications developed is a fully integrated advance and expense management solution connected directly to the ERP system.

Results: standardized operations and enhanced control

The implementation of Arggo’s solutions enabled a consistent way of working across all group companies while providing greater visibility into both financial and operational activities.
By automating business workflows and applying best practices embedded within Microsoft technologies, Sphera Franchise Group now benefits from improved operational control and more efficient management of critical business processes that support long-term growth.
