Beyond software: about transformation and people

In a world where digital transformation has become a necessity, ARGGO helps companies streamline their processes and rethink the way they operate. With more than 20 years of experience, the company delivers solutions that reshape organizations in a meaningful way.

Large-scale projects exist in most companies, especially software implementation initiatives that involve multiple departments at the same time. ARGGO has been carrying out such projects for over 20 years, with more than 350 implementations delivered for various clients. The company specializes in software development and consultancy, offering projects that improve processes and support digitalization. These include software ERP systems, supply chain solutions, and warehouse management platforms that influence the company’s activity as a whole.

“These are the kinds of projects that transform an organization; they are not just technical tools,” explains Alexandru Tănasă, Strategic Development Manager at ARGGO. To illustrate their impact, he references an idea formulated by writer and speaker James Clear: the decisions and projects in our lives fall into three categories—“hat,” “haircut,” and “tattoo.” A “hat” decision is reversible and easy to change. A “haircut” is not ideal, but its effects disappear in a few weeks. A “tattoo,” however, has long-term consequences, difficult to alter and requiring careful consideration. Major software implementations belong to this last category.

Experience shows that such projects are most common in medium and large companies, which need structure, clarity, and disciplined execution. Smaller organizations, on the other hand, prefer flexibility and the ability to pivot quickly toward new products or markets, making them less suited for complex transformation initiatives. “In medium and large companies that aim to transform, the focus is on clarity, structure, and very strict execution,” notes Alexandru Tănasă.

A key insight from practice is that many companies focus almost exclusively on technology, forgetting that real transformation begins with people and processes, and only then with technology. Discussions focused solely on technical aspects are a warning sign, because technology alone does not deliver results. Any project must clearly address the business problem it solves—whether it is gaining more clients, accelerating stock rotation, or reducing production losses. Clients must also understand why they are adopting such projects and what purpose these transformations serve.

Alexandru Tănasă is deeply involved in supporting the digital development of organizations. He has more than 16 years of experience in business consultancy and corporate B2B sales. He also has solid experience in telecommunications, covering Customer Service, Customer Satisfaction & Retention, Sales Operations, and IT&C hardware and software projects. His mission is to improve company productivity and performance through technology by integrating digital solutions broadly across business processes.
